So.... that's the official stuff out of the way! What did I create for the hop?
This little lady...

Lots of WOW! powder on there!
Her dress is one large bit of triple embossing. I melted three layers of clear Ultra High powder, then added a top layer of Fluorescent Blue powder to give the colour.
Once the blue was cold, I sponged Versamark ink through some sequin waste, then added bright white super fine powder Once this is melted in, it gives the fabulous dot effect!
For more interest, I also added a teeny pinch of Primary Apple Red and Pastel Glacier mint to give the blue and red speckled effect....

I also used silicone moulds for my 3D embellishments! Miss Serenity has a blue flower in her hair....

and is carrying a red posy..

Both are made using the Blossom Mould.     The glitter effect is created by adding a teeny tiny sprinkle of Sparkling Snow powder into the mould before adding the molten coloured powder. The glitter powder has just enough heat to be melted onto the surface of the blossom, but not so much it all blends in and some sparkle is lost! Looks very glittery in real life :)
The blossoms are made from Apple Red and Fluorescent Blue powders. The blue turns paler once you heat up a lot of it and mix it around!
I hope you like her.... a nice combination of hand drawn whimsy and  WOW!

So.. your next stop on the hop is  Fran !
Don't forget to leave everyone a comment, and good luck in the draw!

April Challenge at Our Creative Corner

Hello!
It's the first of the month again... so time for a new challenge over at Our Creative Corner!

This month, the challenge theme is:

GYPSY FAYRE

This month's challenge invites you to let us see your gypsy nature.
Gypsies are wanderers, purveyors of exquisite things, mysterious things, free-spirited bohemians curating the beauty of life and sharing the wonders with you as the travel along.
So for the challenge let your creativity run wild and free like a gypsy
we want you to create interesting items you might imagine finding at a traditional Gypsy Fayre.

You may create whatever your gypsy heart desires, but it must....

contain at least 3 colours from the featured colour palette
or
show us how your project is inspired by this gorgeous ode to the gypsy soul!

So craft with the soul of a gypsy and share the wonder with us.

Our sponsor this month is:

I created a bracelet..... Whilst bohemian and individual, the handstamped 'gypsy' charm grounds the wearer with her sense of identity, wherever her gypsy soul may travel.

Why not hop on over to the OCC blog HERE, and have a look at all the amazing creations dreamt up by the rest of the team!
I can't wait to see how you all interpret the theme!
Have a great day,
Trish x
