Potato Wonderland!

Hello!
The current Craft Stamper Blog Challenge is all about the potato..... specifically, carving a potato into a stamp! It's great fun, and not as easy as you may think!
My project for the challenge is this....
As you can see, I used cookie cutters on my potato to form the circle shapes. The dotty one wasn't that successful though! It just looked a bit blobby once the paint went on!
A better look at the painty panel....
I also used the cutters to add a line print around my potato stamping! The circles match up exactly, and I like the effect!
The background is a quick and simple smeared paint affair, red, yellow and blue paint combining with white to give lots of different shades....
As well as a little stamped detail around the edge, I used stamping for my main image too. This is a Stampers Anonymous stamp, love this image...
The word is done with my new favourite stash item...teeny tiny alphabet stickers! From Kaisercraft, they are a *touch* fiddly to use (!!), but I love the extra detail the individual letters give!
All the information you need about the challenge can be found HERE...
It's such a fab technique, you really need to have a go!
Love Trish xxx
