Hello!
Welcome to Craft
Stamper Magazines very first Take it, Make It blog hop!
If you have landed
here from Tracy's blog then you’re in the right place!
If not, no matter! You can find the list of all the blog hop links HERE.
The January challenge
is called ‘Take A Stamp’, and is really simple…just use a stamp somewhere in
your art. The project I am sharing today is this…..
A very 'me' creation, very painty, very colourful and full of stamped images!
I smeared and sponged my background with lots of different colours of paint...
before adding loads of background stamps, stamped with Archival ink...
I then created my house. It blends in to the background doesn't it? That's because it IS the background! I scanned my background once it was dry, then printed it off in a couple of different sizes to give me some papers to cut up and collage. Not sure whether you can spot exactly which bit of the background became the house....
I also collaged some stripy card to make a base for my house to sit on, and some more paper for windows, a heart and the dot on the roof! Once the glue was dry, I added doodles and some black shading with a Stabilo pencil..
I added typed words to give a title, then edged the whole thing in black, just to give it a 'framed' effect. I hope you like it!
The main challenge
this month has a HUGE prize up for grabs, all you need to do is enter a project
into the challenge to earn your place in the random draw!
AND....(this is the exciting bit!) , we are also offering MORE prizes for all you hoppers!….
You can win this
fabulous mixed media substrate pack:
To win, all you have to do is leave
a comment on this post. When the main January challenge ends (midnight GMT January 28th), we will randomly draw a name from
the comments left! The lucky winner will not only win the mixed media substrate pack, they will also win a piece of original art from me, the project you have just seen above! This opportunity is the same across all 12 blogs in the blog hop, so TWELVE chances to win a mixed media pack and some original art from that blog author…how cool is that?!
You can comment on as many or as few blogs as you wish, but remember you will only be entered into the draws for the blogs you DO comment on!
So, leave your comment here, and then hop along to the next
blog, the fabulously talented:
I'm sure Zoey will have something amazing for you to look at, and if you leave a comment for her you could even win it!
Once you’re all done with the hop, don’t forget to enter
the main challenge! All the details can be found HERE
Have fun!
