Happy woyww everyone!
Wednesday again...more desk hopping to be done!! Julias Fabulous Blog is the place to start, loads and loads of creative spaces just waiting to be inspected! Go on, you know you want to!
Another angle of my main workspace today..
My sewing machine lives at this end of the bench, and that's what I've been playing with today. I've seen all these fab ruffle type trims on a few peoples projects, and thought 'hmmmm, surely I can make those waaaay cheaper than buying them like that?' Answer? why yes, even my limited sewing skills can create a ruffle! A metre of plain white muslin costs very little, and being white means I can dye it to go with whatever my colour scheme is! One of my last batch got glued on this......
I coloured it with Peacock Feathers Distress ink...... really like the effect...
The aim today is so make a nice pile if them, all ready for when the mood takes me!!
Have a lovely week everyone!
Love Trish xxx

  12. Well that’s some stamp collection you have on show there Trish and I’m guessing there’s lots more unmounted ones hidden somewhere from view.
Loving your muslin ruffle too. It’s great being able to colour things to match your projects so easily now and I almost always buy White when it comes to ribbons, lace and braiding.

Thanks for the offer of some beads hun.
I think I mostly need seed beads or the like in Red, Green and Gold/Dk.Yellow to go around the edges of all the little pillows.

    Happy Crafting!

  28. Fabulous work space. Wish I could sort out my sewing machine. The wad of thread on the back of projects and that whole stopping in the middle of things is getting old.
You've put your machine to very good use making that ruffle. Just lovely.

Sorry so late, the start of the school year made for a very hectic week.
